Felt quite inspired during the weekends after/while watchcing the opera “Le nozze di Figaro” also known as “Marriage of Figaro” by W.A Mozart on youtube. It’s a really good opera buffa (comic opera) and you can find some videos on youtube. My favourite character from the opera is Cherubino and would love to play the role someday. (love his scene when he hides behind and on the chair with sheets on top)
1st row: Fantasy flower
2nd row: 17th century
3rd row: Victorian era
4th row: 1950-60s
The first two rows especially are designed inspired by the clothes of the opposite gender (male outfit = inspired by female outfit). The first row is unisex and features 3D flowers sewn on the see through cloth.
The left two outfits from the second row (purple and green one) are good examples. The far left one (purple) was inspired by military uniforms (around Napoleonic War time) with see through lace cravat. The right outfit (green one)’s coat/cloak was inspired by the 17th century dress, also wearing mary jane shoes to look more feminine.
I like clothes from the Baroque to Rococo era because of all the decorations and details. But what I love about the Baroque outfit is that men’s outfits looks like they’re wearing a dress and showing their legs off and wearing tights.
