Guys please here me out about this batshit crazy way I fucking got the HTML editor to work
Suffice it to say I have the HTML editor as my default... And despite that Tumblr refuses to give me the old HTML editor.
So I had to do some weird kind of trickery to get working.
I have this post I made last year back when the editor was normal.
This was made with the HTML editor.
So I clicked on the edit button.
And voilà! The old editor. The problem? I don't want to edit, I want to make a new post.
So I hit the close button that is at the bottom of the page.
Old Tumblr layout my beloved 💜
If you click on the notifications or anything for that matter it'll turn back to standard layout, that doesn't let you use the HTML editor.
So what did was I click on the text option for making a post.
If you change to ritch text editor you will still be able to change to the HTML or Markdown without problems.
I made a post with this method and tried editing it to recreate the process but...
WTF? Why is it on new post editor?!
You can't change the type of post in this one.
So it seems I can only use that very specific post.
Welp now let's try this on my mobile browser
There's no option to close.
What to do? Change the browser option to Website for Computer.
There it is! The close option! (It's in Portuguese. It's the "fechar" one)
So, you are probably wondering, what if I don't have an old post that was made in HTML?
This website is a fucking mess. I don't know how this works, the hyperlink that is above the page is the same for the old and new editor it seems.
How do we still use this website. If someone knows another way to trigger the HTML post editor please say so.
@oakskull I did it! In a weird way but I did!
