Chatzy: Heart To Heart (Piersden)
Aiden walked from Economics to his dorm room, rubbing at his eyes as he yawned. Honestly, he hadn't gotten much sleep the night before thanks to the drama that had happened with Piers. He had tossed and turned, not able to fully fall asleep until around five in the morning. And when you have to be up at eight for class, that wasn't good. He unlocked his door and stepped inside, keeping it open for Piers as he laid down on his bed, staring up at the ceiling.
Piers couldn't really concentrate during ASL for one main reason. He felt like a complete idiot for arguing with Aiden and he couldn't actually think what he was arguing about, sure, the things he was saying had some basis to them, but there wasn't much else to it. As the lunch bell rang, he immediately walked as fast as he could towards Aiden's dorm. The door was open so he walked towards it and saw Aiden laying on the bed, he gave a soft smile to himself before knocking on the door, not wanting to startle Aiden. ''Hey there.'' Piers said, as he took a step into the room.
Aiden looked over at Piers from his place on the bed, smiling softly as he sat up. "Hey you. Close the door and come sit." He patted the spot next to him, before reaching out an arm, wanting to take Piers' hand in his own.
Piers did as he was told and gave the door a gentle push, closing it shut. He walked towards the bed and grabbed Aiden's hand, taking it in his own. He sat down on the bed, next to Aiden, gently rubbing his thumb over Aiden's hand. ''I've missed you.''
Aiden looked between Piers' eyes, his soft, small smile still in place. "I've missed you too." He leaned in, giving Piers' cheek a gentle peck, before situating himself further back on the bed, crossing his legs and taking Piers' hand in his own again. "Do you want to start or do you want me to?"
Piers blushed slightly at the quick kiss. It wasn't a lie, Piers had missed Aiden, even though they had seem a lot of each other over the last couple of days, they had talked a lot too. ''Would you mind talking first, so I can think of what I'm going to say so I don't trip over my own mouth.'' Piers said, giving out a soft laugh.
Aiden rolled his eyes a bit, but smiled, before he nodded. "Yeah, I can do that." He took a deep breath, looking down at their hands for a few moments, before looking back up at his boyfriend. "Whenever you talk about my addiction and how it's affecting you, I feel like you don't appreciate how hard I'm trying to quit. You bring it up, and I feel like I can't please you."
Piers nodded his head, looking over at his boyfriend with soft eyes. He sighed gently, before speaking. ''I can understand why you would feel that way, I'll admit that I haven't really acted like the best boyfriend when it's come to your addiction..'' Piers said, grabbing a tighter hold of Aiden's hand. ''..but, I want you to know, that I am so proud of you, so proud of what you've done and achieved since I first met you. Really, you're one of the strongest people that I've ever met, not everyone could do what you've done.''
Aiden felt a lump form in his throat at Piers' words, and nodded a bit, taking in a deep breath. "Thank you," he said softly. "That means a lot, hearing it from you." He gave Piers' hand a gentle squeeze. "Do you know what you want to say yet?"
Piers smiled at Aiden, giving him a quick nod of the head. ''I needed to say some things about what happened between you and West, and the way you feel about him. I'm not going to go into much detail, because it's not fair on me and it's not fair on you... And I also wanted to say sorry that I keep bringing this up, but I feel this is where the problems lay for me..'' Piers started, clearing his throat as he continued to talk. ''..when you told me that you did what you did, I felt my heart stop. I physically didn't think I could do anything, and that's what scared me the most. I thought that I was losing you, I felt like a part of me was being ripped out of my stomach. Not many people have stuck with me, for whatever that reason may be, and I just thought you were gonna be one of those people who left, because I can't lose you..''
Aiden nodded a bit as he listened to Piers, and squeezed his hand once more. He looked into Piers' eyes, smiling sort of sadly. "Even if West wasn't straight, I wouldn't go for him. He's... everything unhealthy that I'm attracted to. I mean, he reminds me of Daniel in a lot of ways, and that's probably why I'm drawn to him. He's not a nice person, even though I do consider him a friend. But he's unhealthy for me, I know that. I do. But you... you're perfect for me. You make me want to be a better me. I mean, think about Grease. I ran against West for Kenickie because even though I wanted him to be happy and get the part he wanted, I still wanted that part. I'm a competitive person when it comes to acting, and I don't let anyone stand in my way of the lead. Ever. Never in my life. But I stepped down from Danny for you. I mean, you don't realize how big that is for me." He paused for a moment, before shrugging. "I love you. Yeah, I have these stupid feelings for West, but they're nothing you need to be worried about. At all. You're the one I think about nonstop."
Piers looked over at his boyfriend, biting his lip ever so slightly and wiping his eyes with his sleeve, feeling his eyes welling up a little. He then nodded at Aiden, believing everything that he was saying 110%. ''Hearing you say all that.. I-It, you don't know how good that makes me feel.. I know I must look like an idiot right now, crying and everything, but.. I don't know how to express how much I love you, because it's an awful ton, and I'll always feel like you're way too good for me, but I'm good with that.'' Piers said, finally giving a bright smile towards Aiden. ''I think about you nonstop too.''
Aiden reached over with his free hand, rubbing his thumb across Piers' cheek, smiling softly through a bit lip. "What happened to being the guy who doesn't cry, hmm?" he teased softly, before leaning in, pecking Piers' lips. He pulled back, taking a deep breath. "Let's talk about Jackson."
Piers rubbed his eyes again, as they were starting to sting a little. ''Shut up you.'' Piers said jokingly. ''This will be the only time you see my cry.'' He said, smiling to himself. Piers nodded his head. ''About that, is it alright if I go ahead first?''
Aiden nodded, swallowing hard. He felt his heart constrict in his chest as he thought about everything Piers could say on the matter. "Yeah," he said softly, almost a whisper.
Piers smiled, as if to say thank you, without saying words. ''After we had our argument I looked back.. Looked back at some of the conversations I had with Jackson and you're right. I was flirting with him. At the time I thought nothing of it, thought of it as just friendly banter between two friends, but you were right, it was flirting. I'm really sorry about that, I know you don't have to forgive me, or forget it any time soon, but just know that it will never happen again and I'm sorry that I obviously made you feel how you did, which I assume was awful.''
Aiden listened to Piers carefully, before nodding, swallowing hard. "Do you have feelings for him?" he asked softly.
Piers shook his head, closing his eyes. ''No.'' He opened his eyes again and looked at Aiden. ''You're the only one I feel for.''
Aiden smiled brightly at that. "Then consider it forgotten." He uncrossed his legs and sat up on his knees, wrapping his arms around Piers' neck and kissing him softly.
Piers wrapped an arm around Aiden's waist and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss. ''I love you, babe.'' Piers said quickly, before kissing him again.
Aiden smiled into the kiss, enjoying the closeness for a few moments, before pulling back just slightly, his nose bumping against Piers'. "Do you have anything else you want to talk about?"
Piers thought about the question for a second, before nodding his head. ''There is actually.'' Piers said, grabbing a hold of Aiden's hand again. ''I want to talk about the future.''
Aiden 's heart stopped in his chest, before he nodded a bit. "Good, because me too actually... You first."
Piers cleared his throat before speaking. ''And I don't mean family wise, not that far in the future. I meant like were we move on from here and stuff... Uhmm... This is were I feel like you may slap me or something... When I graduate from here.. I want to move to England..''
Aiden stared at Piers for a few moments, blinking. "I'm applying to Juilliard," he whispered, before swallowing hard.
Piers scrunched his face up before hearing what Aiden said. ''Really? That's incredible, babe.'' Piers said, leaning over and giving a quick kiss to his boyfriends cheek.
Aiden just sat there in shock, unable to fully comprehend what Piers had said about England. A second later, he was quickly hopping off his bed, grabbing his laptop and opening it. "What are good acting schools in England?"
Piers coughed slightly, scratching the back of his head. ''I wouldn't really know about that... Umm, I don't want to be an actor..'' Piers said, blinking.
Aiden rolled his eyes, looking over at Piers. "Not for you, silly. For me. If you're going to England, you better believe I'm following you."
Piers shook his head a little too fast for his own good, as he hurt his head afterwards. ''I couldn't possible ask you to do that, babe. What about Juilliard?''
Aiden waved Piers off, going on Google. "Fuck Juilliard. I can get an education anywhere. But you..." He looked over at Piers and shrugged a bit. "You're it for me."
Piers smiled brightly at what he heard from his boyfriend, leaning over and pinching his cheek. ''You're incredible, you know that?'' He said, giving a kiss to Aiden's nose. ''The reason I want to go to England is well, because I'm half British but also my mom said that it might be better for me to start a career there.''
Aiden grinned, rubbing at his cheek a bit and scrunching up his nose. "That's cool. Where in England? I looks like the University of London has a drama school. We could so move to London! It bet it's beautiful there." He said his next sentence in a posh British accent. "Maybe we could have a spot of tea with the Queen. Eh, guv'nah?" He grinned.
Piers put his thumbs in the air, waving them about a little bit. ''We could so move to London. It is beautiful there, I've seen it. It's lush.'' Piers said with a bright expression on his face. ''Say that to my mom and she'll punch you.'' Piers said, holding back a laugh.
Aiden laughed at Piers' last comment, shrugging. "I won't, I'm just teasing." He grinned widely, before shrugging. "Guess I'll have to tell Mr. TJ about my change of plans when it comes to schools. He's going to help me get my grades up and submit applications. But I really don't want to go a year before you, I want us to go together. Maybe I can take a year off between high school and college. I hate school anyway."
Piers bit his lip slightly, looking around the room for a second. ''Yeah, when you graduate, take a year off, get a job maybe and earn some money, might be useful for when we move to England.'' Piers said, smiling.
Aiden grinned, nodding. "Sounds like a plan." He stepped away from his laptop and over to Piers, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's neck. "I love you."
Piers wrapped his arms around Aiden's waist, pulling him closer. ''I love you too, so much, Tigger.'' Piers said, winking.
Aiden blushed a bit, before leaning in and softly pecking Piers' lips. A moment later, he pulled back, glancing at his clock. "Aw, man. We're late."
Piers grabbed a hold of Aiden's hand and squeezed it slightly. ''Shall we go then?'' Pier said, smiling. ''Or shall we walk /very/ slowly?''
Aiden gave Piers' hand a squeeze back, grinning. "No walking slow, I don't want Signor Antonio getting mad at me. In realtà sto facendo bene in quella classe." He grinned, pulling Piers out of the dorm.
Piers shrugged his shoulder slightly. ''Dunno what the hell that means, but alright, lets get going.'' Piers said, tugging at Aiden's arm slightly.
Aiden laughed softly. "I said I'm actually doing well in that class." He wiggled his eyebrows. "Isn't it sexy when I speak Italian?"
Piers shrugged again, rolling his eyes ever so slightly. ''I guess so, I mean, you could be calling me all sorts of names and I wouldn't even know.'' Piers said, laughing.
Aiden grinned, walking out of the building with Piers. "Sei bella, e sorprendente, e ti amo più di ogni altra cosa al mondo."
Piers smiled again, rolling his eyes as he heard his boyfriend speak Italian again. He moved his hands and signed out something. ''Do you know what I'm saying?''
Aiden laughed, pushing Piers playfully. "Fuck you, babe."
Piers giggled softly, holding his hand to his face. ''You can if you want.'' Piers said in a teasing manner.
Aiden blushed a bit and shook his head, walking towards the main class building with Piers. "Maybe later."
Piers wrapped arm around Aiden's shoulder and pulled his closer as they walked together. Good, I look forward to it.'' Piers said, smirking to himself. Piers stopped a little as they walked a little more. ''Do I really have to go to class?'' Piers said with a pout on his face.
Aiden grinned and nodded. "Yes. Sorry, babe. But I'll see you after school, yeah?"
Piers nodded and leaned down, giving a kiss to the other boys lips. ''Yeah, I'll see you then, babe.''
