Hunter the Parenting Golden Goose Gang x Vocaloids

Influenced by @meekumeeku's Teto in Markus's fit!

Below the break is explanations on who everyone is!

Door as IA, who you might know from a song like IA / Conqueror 【ARIA LIVE MUSIC VIDEO】. Its as simple as them both having white hair lol! I felt like Door would be very much uncomfortable with this exercise.

Boy as Adachi Rei, who I frankly just found out about from this song: O.U.F.O.I. 【Kasane Teto & Adachi Rei】 but here's another good one: GIMMICK GIRL [ft. Adachi Rei]. Chosen for the orange color scheme that matches Boy's color scheme, lol

Big D as the yellow one (Akita Neru), who you might know from FLOP ERA / Akita Neru or the certified classic Hatsune Miku - Triple Baka (4K UPSCALE) where Neru only communicated through beeps, lol! She eventually upgraded, but just to a pitched version of other vocaloid voices lol. Chosen again for color scheme. I didn't go with Rin and Lin cause it would be hard to choose which one specifically to go with design wise.

Markus as Kasane Teto, of course, one of the most popular vocaloids as of recent. But instead of sharing her most popular songs, here's a few lesser known ones that bring me joy: Model Collapse (ft. Kasane Teto) MV, O.U.F.O.I. 【Kasane Teto & Adachi Rei】, Queen's Gambit | Kasane Teto (basically all of milisen's songs are peak!!) Chosen because of the inspiration, and cause they are both red lol

Finally Kitten as Hastune Miku!!! Do I need to suggest you songs for her? If I must: Radiant Revival / Jamie Paige feat. Hatsune Miku, CHUKICHUKI POKOPOKO-PON / TAK feat. Hatsune Miku RUSSIAN ROULETTE / Miku Obviously chosen cause Kitten is blue, and I sort of thought translating his hoodie into cushion pigtails would be cute lol!

"I don't understand..."

Markus looked down at his own father, floating above him as if observing a fly on the windowsill.

"You have your sword in front of you. Why aren't you attacking?"

The question was made with genuine curiosity, his voice soft and monotone, a far cry from his loud and whiny former self.

D looked up at his son, with a sense of fear and paralysis that neither Markus, nor any hunter with him, had ever seen from him before.

He raised his head as he braced himself against the searing heat, tears in his eyes.

Normally, within this situation, he would be standing straight up, sword in hand, screaming against the monster that dared to hurt the unprotected.

"I... I cannot..."

Markus tilted his head, more confused. "Why not?"

D's breath was labored, sweat dripping from every orifice.

"Come on, Son. You know why."

The fire mage drew closer, growing impatient. "What? No. I do not know why." The formations on his face, most recognizable as eyebrows, furrowed with a familiar annoyance. "Aren't you supposed to be stronger than me? Smarter than me? More experienced?"

D's eyes widened with regret, his tears now coming full force. "Markus, no. I lost my composure, I didn't mean it! Please, believe me!"

Markus seemed almost disappointed at this answer.

"So, you lied to me. Again."

D's eyes narrowed as he shook his head. "Only to protect you! I can't have you gallivanting around with the paranormal, you don't know what it's li-"

...

D recoiled as he realized what he just said.

And who he just said it to.

"Oh. Oh no, father. I think I know fully well."

He moved directly towards D's face, the heat emanating off him like a furnace.

"So that's why you can't attack me. You pity me, as per usual."

D looked at Markus as much as he could, his hand shielding as much heat as he could, and held his head down low in regret.

He took a look behind him, where his clan should be.

"Well, why don't you kill me then?" He took a deep breath in, hoping to Gaia that this worked. "I'm the one you're angry with, right? Leave the rest." Tears rolled down his cheeks, then evaporated into the air. "Wouldn't that show me up? Killing your own superior?" He laughed, finding a strange bit of black humor in the situation. "I won't deny it, I've been cheating death for a very long time now."

His smile waned and receded. "What good is a hunter if he makes his sons into monsters, anyway?"

Markus stared at him for a second, in disbelief. The mere idea of his father joking about his death would be complete bullshit to him only a few days ago.

And yet...

"A tempting offer, but I refuse."

Now it was D's turn to be surprised, as a large, flame-like hand had picked him up by the scruff of his neck. He stared at Markus in disbelief, as he muttered one singular word.

"...Why?"

"You said it yourself, Father." Markus smiled. "A dead hunter is useful only as a warning, and there is so much more use I can get out of you." Markus floated up toward his dad one more time as the ground broke up and opened beneath him.

"Have fun down there. You won't come back."

Pokemon Teams?

So, I've got no motivation to draw this, but I have ideas, let me know what you'd give these characters instead, or what you'd give other characters that I haven't gotten to. Maybe someday in the future I'll sit down to draw these teams!

(side note, I opted to not do type-based teams because everyone would just be psychic type, so it would get redundant)

THE GREAT AND MIGHTY KEVIN's team

Hypno - as a referemce to his flagrant misuse of dominate

Octillery "Beretta M9" - as a reference to his powerful wizard gun

Galarian Slowking - as a reference to the blood bond that controls his feelings and actions, maybe swapping to a regular Slowking once he escapes his bonds completely?

Mismagius - because hat :3

Purugly "Mr Smerples" - I think this one is obvious, but i just think Mr Smerples is probably a really mean looking cat. Crossing my fingers for a Mr Smerples reveal

Golbat - as a reference to him, you know, being a vampire

Markus's Team

Blaziken - ngl, this is just a vibes choice, I think he'd choose this guy as his favorite starter

Absol - as a reference to all the tragic things that seem to befall him. I imagine this Absol is with him all the time because of his bad luck.

Cresslia - I know this is a legendary, but I think I'm gonna give everyone in the Golden Goose Gang one. I choose this one because of Cresslia's signature move "Lunar Dance," described as "The user faints. In return, the Pokémon taking its place will have its status and HP fully restored." as a reference to his self-sacrificing behavior to save his family.

Sprigatito - called the magician pokemon line, which, I mean, sounds about right for Markus, but its a Sprigatito instead of meowscarada because he hasn't unlocked his full potential yet

Toxapex - as a reference to the classic stake jacket

Bouffalant - as a loose reference to horse. Bouffalant also has the ability Reckless, which Markus has been referred to as.

Kitten's Team

Toxtricity (low-key form) - as a reference to raves. The wiki says he attended raves, so I'm trusting you Kitten Wiki.

Forretress - In a dex entry, it says "Its entire body is shielded by a steel-hard shell. What lurks inside the armor is a total mystery." and I feel like this makes a lot of sense for Kitten, who is always all covered up. I choose this instead of Mimikyu, the disguise pokemon, because I don't think Kitten is hiding something.

Uxie - Known as the knowledge pokemon, as a reference to Kitten's endless thirst for knowledge and urge to learn more. He doesn't know everything, but maybe someday he will!

Obstagoon - as a reference to his research into black shuck! And galarian (so pokemon british)

Sylveon - as a metaphorical reference to the bonds that he has with Markus and his family, and I partially think, the strength he adds to those bonds between all of them. He's like the glue character.

Furret - Because he's the most normal lil guy in this entire family of weirdos.

Big ups to the Hunter the Parenting Wiki for the character art and the lore I could reference from for ideas, so that I didn't have to spend an extra 10 hours rewatching the entire series for ideas. I wanna do that in my off time, not my art time! Which, admittedly, is usually the same time.
