I think the main reason that all the refugee in Canada scenes make me immediately start sobbing is because realistically I don’t think that refugees from Gilead would be that welcome. And seeing so obviously how refugees SHOULD be treated just...adds to the pain. Like imagine a different ending for their escape into Canada. Baby Nicole being torn away, them being sent back over the boarder...but this might just be me applying my American perception of immigration to Canada.

I straight up do not like June in the first episode like. It read as her abandoning one of her children and rest of her loved ones in order to have an unrealistically small chance of seeing her other child. Kind of blame the writers for using this as a way to keep the story from advancing since they know people like it how it is
