Gore and blood warning ahead
I'm so happy to find out squishes are a thing! I don't normally talk about how much I love characters (especially guys) except to my sister, because I'm a girl so people immediately assume it's a crush. But there are times where they have such great personalities and you wish you could talk with them, or they're going through hard times and you just want to give them hugs and cookies and tell them everything turns out fine. It's not romantic. But it's deep. (lookin' at you, Fishlegs No-Name)

YAAAAAY! I’m glad to hear that you like hearing about squishes. Even without a term, of course squishes are still a thing, but it’s nice to hear a term and receive the validation that other people feel a similar thing to you. It makes it feel more concrete and comprehensible, now that you have a term and definition before you.

I have a headcanon that Gumboil is actually chief of the Murderous tribe. He's very cunning and good with words but no Viking would take him seriously. He uses Madguts as a "voice" but hes really more of the muscle and face to appear as Chief. They both would pay off from it. Gumboil gets to make the decisions and Madguts the glory and benefits of appearing as a chief.
I can't believe Fishlegs is the only Viking in the entirety of the Archipelago who is legally allowed to tell his granny to go fuck herself.
