BOULDER CLASS
These tough, rock loving dragons are the opposite of picky eaters. Rocks, Geodes, metals, stones, They eat them all. Then recycle the stone into Lava balls that they eject at deadly speeds. The magma can be altered depending on what the dragon eats. From changing colors, creating unique metals, and altering the type of magma shot. Because their diet, boulder dragons are often found in caves, volcanos, and other rocky terrain. Their hides are usually very thick and durable and resistant to a lot of poisons. Boulder class dragons have unique teeth and jaw structure designed to grind up rocks. Their teeth make excellent tool tips. The claws on their feet are usually dull, designed for digging. Their wings are often too small for their bodies, giving them a bumble bee flight pattern. Yet they are still able to keep up with other dragons.
Boulder class dragons have the most explosive eggs. exploding in defense and when hatching. Some boulder class eggs are left in a warm magma nest, while others are left alone. Relying on a thick shell and camouflage by looking like a rock. When born the babies uncontrollable drool lava after each meal, and when their hungry, or sleeping.
If you plan to train a boulder class, bring rocks, kindness, and patience. Boulder class dragons can be extremely stubborn. But once befriended you have a wonderful companion. Despite their size and chunkiness, many of these dragons make wonderful roommates or "house pets". Perfectly content to lay down and cuddle for hours at a time.
