The dass & das problem? same tbh but like... my brain doesn't even register anymore when it's supposed to be das and when dass, it just says "this feels like das and this feels like dass"

yuna and taka staying with jin vs lord shimura abandoning jin is a 10/10 parallel and very in character. while i believe that he did love jin, he ultimately chose his position as jito and his loyalty to the shogun above family, above the man he raised and wanted to officially adopt as his own. which... yeah his love was very conditional, it might be that jin realizes this when lord shimura slaps him during their fight about how lord shimura wants to use the common people to be their shield so the samurai don't get harmed. [the same common people that are there for jin and jin alone, these people don't even like lord shimura after conflicts that happened one-two? decades ago. but they trust jin and in a way, jin trusts them.] i think it's also very telling that, if you chose to let lord shimura live, jin says "i have no honor, but i will not kill my family." which is the exact thing his uncle tried to do. aka ghost of tsushima makes me emotional 🥺
