There's so much to unpack there and I'm not sure I'm qualified for it (nor do I know where to begin).

Ok so firstly Jews.... Yes some Jews don't believe in God especially in America, being Jewish is both a Religion and Ethnic group. However there are still plenty of Jews that are religious and belong to some sort of Jewish denomination be it Orthodox, Conservative, Reformist etc. And these all involve believing in a God. Also most of the religious Jews I know have said to me they would rather a Christian spoke on their behalf before a non religious Jew because they find they have more in common with the Christian. I obviously can't speak from experience here since I'm not a Jew I'm just repeating what I've been told.

But also I just don't see some of the things they are saying makes Hubert a Jewish stereotype. Like in pretty sure the designers just wanted an evil chancellor sort of character and that's what Hubert is to them.

The Snape part is just dump and I'm leaving it at that.

Dark Magic at least doesn't rely on Sothis to cast it, and Hubert is drawn especially to that kind since he's a lover of the darl himself and Whatever source it draws on is something else. Meanwhile even regular magic relies on Sothis power to invoke as her Sigil appears.

Yeah but the only other people who learn dark magic all have Crests (be it either natural or unnatural, Jeritza's Crest is natural, Lysithea's are unnatural etc.)

Hubert stands out, he's got the second highest magic growth besides Lysithea and has access to Dark Magic spells but no Crest (neither natural or unnatural). Remember the Agarthans tech and magic all originate from the technology Sothis shared with them, they took it and then developed it further.

There's a reason the theories of Slitherer Hubert exists, because otherwise he's an anomaly.
