One real benefit of having friends who live in the same town I do, is the fact that they can come pick me up from the park and drive me home when I've been stupid enough to go walking in the woods when it's 90F degrees. (the F stands for Fuck-off)

You think, the woods has trees right? Shade right? Yes! But also! The air is so heavy that it's nigh on unbreathable! Walked to a bench I know bc I thought, oh it's a bit of a clearing, it will offer relief. No! It's just hot again! And there's still no fucking breeze!!!

Anyway I got out of the woods but I knew it would be very unwise to try to walk home, especially bc I was nearly out of water.

So I texted my friend and she came and got me and drove me home. And I'm just so thankful 💜💜🥹🥹
