Actually, the way of learning Portuguese (at least the Brazillian, but I guess the Portugal isn't much different) and Spanish are very similar, what with the rules and everything, but the pronunciation is very different from one another.

Oh really? Hmm, I guess I’ll add Portuguese to my list of languages I want to learn then!

But in my opinion, I think portuguese is more difficult than spanish...

That's so cool! Portuguese is my primary language, but, like you, I'll eventually try other languages like Italian or French... sadly, I don't know a lot of Spanish...

Ooh, that’s awesome! :D I’d like to learn Portuguese one day too! The more languages, the merrier! Would you consider it a difficult language to learn or no?

Spanish is... easy, but tricky at the same time. It’s difficult to explain. The accent marks are one thing, and then irregular verbs, and irregular gender nouns--well, there’s a reason I’m taking classes for it. -laugh- 

But since I grew up speaking Spanish, it’s not a difficult class; it’s more like fine tuning my family’s primary tongue. I can write, read, and hear it without much difficulty, but speaking it is where I get in trouble. Thankfully we practice it every class, as our professor prefers we ask and answer in Spanish.

Yo you're bi/tri/somethingelselingue?

I’m bilingual! English is my primary language, but I grew up in a Spanish-speaking household for until about... after I graduated high school. I’m currently taking Spanish 2 so I can get better at a language I should’ve cared more to perfect. I used to speak it fluently when I was little and then idk what happened. orz;;;

But I’d like to be multilingual, or at least trilingual. Learning Japanese, Italian, and French are on my to-do list! First I want to get better with Spanish, so after that hurdle, I’ll look into learning a third language. :)
