You Need To Add This Tequila Festival To Your Calendar
It's July, which means summer is already half over. So, like many of my urban counterparts, I'm desperately trying to cram every weekend full of memorable, outdoor activities. From beach getaways on Shelter Island to picnics in Central Park, I will leave no stone unturned. On July 26, one of my favorite midtown venues, Hudson Common, is hosting a lavish tequila festival at its aptly named outdoor space, Tequila Park. Guests will sample premium liquors from Avión, Don Julio, Corzo, Herradura, Tanteo and Casamigos (George Clooney’s tequila brand) as well as internationally inspired tacos—think tuna poke with yuzu koshu aioli. If the temperature continues to creep up, grab a serving of "boozy" ice cream from Tipsy Scoop while listening to the sounds of City of The Sun. An afternoon here will be the cherry on top of your summer season.
