Oooo! Writing prompts, eh? What would Marvin making Robbie a hot chocolate for the first time be like?

“Robbie, would you like something to drink?”

The zombie sat at the table, gingerly tracing the line of a leaf in the plant pot on the table in front of him. He slowly raised his head to look at the magician, who was boiling a pot of water on the stove.

“In… life I… used to drink… hot chocolate…”

Marvin’s eyes brightened as he pulled a mug out of the cupboard.

“I can make you hot chocolate! I have a spell I’ve been working on, would you like to try it?”

“Spell…? What… kind of… spell…?” Robbie asked, finger pausing on the plant leaf.

Marvin grinned, pouring hot water into the mug and circling his hand over it.

“A spell to add essences of flavours to food,” he replied, mumbling a spell to himself.

Robbie watched as a purple glow emanated from the mug.

When it dissolved, Marvin brought the drink to the zombie, sitting opposite him at the table and taking a sip from his coffee.

“I hope you like it. You like plums.” It was more of a statement than a question, but Robbie nodded nonetheless.

He took a hesitant sip from the rich liquid, lip twitching as a strange flavour touched his tongue.

“Well? Any good?”

What’s going on? JJ slid into the seat beside Robbie, signing his question as the zombie passed his mug over.

“I’m testing a new spell on Robbie’s hot chocolate,” the magician replied, watching the dapper man drink from the cup with expectation.

What flavour was this meant to be? Marvin’s face fell as JJ pushed the mug away.

“Plum…”

It doesn’t taste like plums…

Leo! Can I design a birb to join your ever growing group? Is there any theme to them in particular?

Yeah go right ahead! The only theme is that they are tiny and bird inspired, but the bird theme is very loose. We’ll accept anyone who’s willing to join and get along with other members (bonus if they brings snacks to share)
