Do you ever think about how genuinely excited and happy Helena seemed to be undergoing severance in S01E02 only to end up looking and feeling more trapped and controlled and almost frightened when she was later forced to keep going down to the severed floor? I do. All the time.

I'm fucking deranged for any piece of fiction where Lute is fighting against herself, if someone is being kind to her and giving comfort she can't bring herself to accept it until she breaks and the other person catches the shards of what's left of her

THIS!! Lute is literally the type to deny herself any kind of comfort. I imagine she sees crying in front of others as weakness. Like here in this scene, she pushes past all the winners to get to a quiet place to cry to herself. Honestly, I'd kill to see someone in the show just genuinely care about her and give her a big hug.

I don’t have anything interesting to say tonight but I got a new therapist and she’s really good!!

She’s the best therapist I’ve ever had and this is the first time we’ve met. She’s already given me working solutions to my biggest problem, she listens and connects with me on comfortable levels??!!!!!

Maybe this isn’t that impressive but my first therapist wasn’t really therapying at all and my last two therapists were ass
