It was the National Tree Day 🌲🌳🌴 last weekend, so here's belated wishes to everyone with a throwback to the virtual celebration! 😀 We may have entered stage 4 restrictions 😷, but connecting with nature has always provided us much needed solace in these difficult uncertain times and helped us to deal with the isolation. We couldn't get out to plant trees this year, but here's celebrating our eternal connection with nature by capturing and sharing a moment of embracing trees 🤗 These trees hold soil, filter air and provide story, fire, food, shelter and so much more. This moment is also about expressing my gratitude for all of their invaluable gifts to us. After all, in caring for our trees and environment, we care for ourselves! 😊 #HugaTreeforNTD 🌿 #NationalTreeDay 🌱 #NationalTreeDay2020 🌾 #ConnectWithNature 🌏 #TreeLover 💚 @planetark (P.S. I couldn't manage to get the whole tree with me in the selfie by myself, so sharing the photo of the beautiful gum tree I shared the hug with) #covid19 #lockdown #isolation #mask #coburg #melbourne #victoria #australia #merricreek #gumtree #celebration #nature #environment #hug #embrace #solace #grateful #gratitude #care #selfie #nofilter (at Merri Creek Trail) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDllct4pAyP/?igshid=1nvivumhr3qit
