Pidgeot! I think Pidgeot would be perfect for you because…
(1) Having Pidgeot as your partner helps you remain humble, grounded and level-headed. Pidgeot is a very mature Pokemon and understands the power that it possesses. It rarely lets its mind wander and will be there in a nano second when it senses danger. With that being said, Pidgeot will be right beside you reeling you back into reality when you get a tad bit too goofy. Of course your silliness and wit will help Pidgeot learn how to loosen up a bit. Your guys’ differences is what ultimately makes you guys an incredible team. You feed off of each others strengths and improve each others weaknesses.
(2) If you were to go the path of being a Pokemon coordinator with your bird partner, you guys will be a very tough team to go against. Pidgeot’s Pokedex entry states: “This Pokémon has a dazzling plumage of beautifully glossy feathers. Many Trainers are captivated by the striking beauty of the feathers on its head, compelling them to choose Pidgeot as their Pokémon.” the bar is already so high with Pidgeot on your team. Being able to use a comedic approach to Pokemon contests while showing off Pidgeot’s grace and elegance could potentially make you one of the greatest Pokemon Coordinators out there. One of the best things about having PIdgeot as your partner is the fact that it can mega evolve! Of course being able to reach a connection so high in order to activate mega evolution will take lots of time and love but once you guys are able to do so, everyone needs to watch out.
(3) The life of a rising star has incredible pros but can be hectic, burdensome and difficult on the other end of the spectrum AND adding a bustling city life into the mix makes it a little more overwhelming than it already is. But this is where trainer and Pokemon bond come into play. When times get a bit too tough, go ahead and hop on Pidgeot’s back and fly somewhere remote and quiet. The night air skimming against your skin and the city lights dancing right below you will definitely put your mind at ease. Talk to Pidgeot about your fears and worries and be in awe at how intensely Pidgeot listens and takes everything you say to heart. Pidgeot will remember everything that bothers you and will do its best to ensure that it eliminates all the things you talked about in order to improve your life bit by bit. And while you guys are in the air swimming across huge bodies of water, I think you’ll learn to appreciate the beauty of the ocean rather than fear it.

i can see sonia being intrigued by celes, celes being like ‘hey she’s rich and beautiful i could use her for her money’, only they fall in love and they bond over anime but celes doesn’t want anyone to know. and sonia knows all of the manga that celes copies for parts of her made up backstory.
