Sadly when playing in AU sandboxes can't always nab Bruno. But that's alright. There are always others Elena the romantic can focus her heart on.

Like Hugo the palace guard, who kind of looks like a sexy Abraham Lincoln in the bottom pic, hence the addition of the mustache.

Did Elena tell Hugo about Bruno's gift and how the "stalker art" is actually a vision tablet? He might think that Elena was naive to buy Bruno's "nutjob" story, unless of course Bruno gave him a vision to prove his sanity.

So for Hugo, he told Elena to stop dating men like her ex-husband. And to her credit, she immediately took his advice. But he should have been a little more specific, because it was the “artist weirdo”and he was ready to give her a hard time about it, but Hugo realized he didn’t really sense Bruno as a threat to her.

So He figures, Elena would dump Bruno eventually because he is so far outside her type. And hopefully, Elena would find a middle ground and date actually normal guys. He even drew Lucia a diagram of why Bruno, despite being on “the wall of shame”, Was not run off.

But then her Boyfriend gifted her a glowing ring that was not uranium, he has birds deliver letters, and Elena twists her ankle bad on stage and is dancing like nothing is wrong later after she spends some time with him and his sisters.

So as as @cheetee figures, he just quietly accepts Bruno is a wizard and decides that’s better then a dickhead.

In modern Academia Bruno is end game, but Elena has to break free of her toxic relationship with her fiance Carlos. Hugo has opinions about him.
