Man, I mean, I know Hugo Brass was a bland character before, but now he’s really bland in the personality department. At least its played for laughs, this time.

Something I noticed? 

Across the Sonic franchise there are four separate human characters aligned with the military with mineral based names. 

Colonel Percival Granite

Commander Hugo Brass

Topaz

Agent Stone 

Four separate continuities, four separate creators, four separate interpretations of Sonic, and yet “Human With A Mineral-Based Name Who Works For The Army” has popped up THIS many times entirely by coincidence. 

God I love this franchise. 

(For the record I realize I am leaving out Madonna Garnet- I excluded her because her name is clearly meant as a reference to Topaz, and as such doesn’t count for the whole ‘this has happened on its own multiple times in the franchise’ deal)

Okay okay okay, oh my god okay! One: I can't believe the Nerbs are back, who only ever appeared in #10, and are now reinstated as one of Eggman's mook squads, and are led by one who is practically cosplaying as the original Dr. Robotnik. The idea and the reintroduction is just too creative for me to not mention it!

Also, Hugo Brass (that stereotypical military leader Karl Bollers introduced) is back and, rightfully so, he no has no personality at all. But its played for laughs so its more alright in my opinion.

Previously, you said that each branch of the Dark Egg Legion has a Kommissar in addition to a Grandmaster . That being said, is Matilda thr Armadillo the Kommissar of the Great Desert D. E .L ? And was Hugo Brass demoted to Kommissar after Regina the Iron Queen took over Eurish's branch ?

1. No, Matilda was not the Kommissar of the Great Desert’s D.E.L.  We’re planning to introduce the real Kommissar in the upcoming Universe arc.

2. Hugo was demoted after the Iron Queen took over his branch, but whether or not he became the Kommissar is currently unknown.
