tbh I went to see tfa with a v patchy knowledge of the prequels & the original trilogy & im just planning on marathoning the first 6 w a friend some other time?? like u only need a Very Basic knowledge of the first 6 to understand & i guess i might hav missed some nuances but overall i bought it was fine without so don't stress urself over not having seen stuff beforehand. also the prequels vs original trilogy discourse is Terrifying do not get in the middle of that lmao
