Hisui Legendaries 11.4.22
Dawn is… not exactly smmomed to ancient Hisui. Two of her pokémon are instead.
Dialga and Palkia awake in the land of ancient Hisui trapped in human form. Torn from the heavens by Arceus and forced to save the world as Dawn is dragged Up to fulfill their heavenly jobs in their place, regardless of the fact they were never meant to be done by one alone. (Fortunately Dawn has managed to summon herself some help to share the burden of the job, unfortunately this just means that both Dawn and Emmet are now having a bad time.)
So instead of meeting a teenage girl from the future, the Clans got introduced to their gods themselves.
On Dialga and Palkia's end their desire to be at eachother's throats is only outdone by their worry for their trainer (and their fear for their younger sibling as though that fear isn't the very reason they are so quick to snap and snarl at eachother in the first place).
Palkia uses he/they/she Dialga uses they/it
