((so i got really bored and then had an idea and wrote a drabble. Half sibling cuties and bad writing skills. It has been forever... Human Nomi and Tengu )) [pst, This nomi is Otprincess's. And Tengu is my own creation, well human version of our dear Demon bird] The boy rolled over on the couch, letting out a groan of discomfort. Silently cursing under his breath. He had gotten out of that gem, twice. Sure it was because of an accident both times, defeated both times. Although this time there was a difference. He had not been forced back into that blasted stone. No, he had been forced back to who he once was, a face he had grown to forget. All because Nomi. She had finally decided he could not be kept in the stone, that maybe if she was no longer a permeant book maybe he did not have to be imprisoned. Tengu let out an irritated sigh, sure he thought it was nice of the swordsmith to offer him and his... /Sister/. A place to stay for a bit but, knowing that Nomi was just a few rooms away made him mad. There was plenty of room on the bed for the two to share but no, he was stubborn and would rather face the cold. A quiet knock on the wall broke him out of his thoughts, causing him to wake up, scowling at who he saw. "And what do you want?" The girl merely blinked, letting out a sigh as she merely turned on her heel, returning to her room without a reply. "I will never understand her." Tengu growled to himself, scratching his neck. Partly because he was not used to not having feathers. Half way through the night he still could not fall asleep, shivering under the five blankets he had collected before letting out a sigh of defeat. The boy slid off the couch, carefully standing up and stretching his legs as he made his way down the main hallway. Stopping at a partly opened door, a hand reaching out and pushing it open enough for him to slide through. His look of annoyance at not being able to fall asleep changing into one of concern. On one side of the bed was Nomi, the red head frowning and clearly not having a peaceful sleep. Tengu stood near the doorway for a bit before gracefully moving through the stack of books covering most of the floor, sliding under the covers on the empty side of the bed. Without hesitation he reached for Nomi's hand, giving it a small squeeze of reassurance. A soft sigh left her lips, most of her frown disappearing. With that Tengu could not help but smile, he had actually helped, a surprise to him. Maybe. Just maybe being away from his sister at school was nice but, it gets cold at night. And what better to chase the cold away then thoughts of those happy days with Nomi all those years ago. Even if the happy days were over 800 years ago...
