Made this warm up doodle and thought I might as well share it for anyone interested on how to draw hair the way I do.

Derek was about to walk over and discuss some things with Alistair, not to mention finding out how he was doing after being back at Ostagar when he noticed Morrigan walk by, casually looking over at the young noble.

It was enough to get Derek’s attention.  He walked over to Morrigan, but before he could say anything, Morrigan spoke up.  “Tis lonely and cold in my tent, Derek.”

Derek couldn’t help smirk at her coy manner and comment.  “Well, we can’t have that, I shall join you in your tent, for company.”

“And how will we keep warm?”

“I’m sure we can think of a way.” He said, moving towards her.

“I’m sure.” She said, taking his hand and pulling him close and kissing him.

Morrigan was not Derek’s first, but that night felt like the first time.  He had never felt the way he did with Morrigan that night in her tent.  He realized, perhaps too late, that falling in love with a Witch from the Wilds was not his smartest move.  The voice in the back of his mind told him this would end with his heart broken, but he couldn’t help himself.  Something about the dark haired woman had pulled him in and now, he knew, it would be no passing thing.

Afterwards, standing outside her tent, they spoke about what happened.  she was not opposed to doing this more, but it was also clear at how she mocked him for bringing up love that she did not feel the way he did.  

For now, he could live with that, just to stay close to the woman.  Or at leas that’s what he told himself.
