There is. Aside from the utterly useless staff (who are too frightened of me to even look me in the eye anymore), there is my matesprit.
Although I've just decided to heal my hand anyways and cut out the glass once it becomes a persistent problem. I already removed the larger pieces, but the smaller ones are too hard to find with all the blood.

No, I am being absolutely genuine here.

Dean stands up from where he was sitting on the edge of his bed, eyes trained on the door. It has been an eventful last couple of weeks. First the siren power couple who were damn good at running circles around them. Then Nebraska in general fucking sucked. And there was that conversation with Castiel, the whole are we or aren't we? that turned into a whole lot more we definitely are after Dean's initial blanching and Cas' irritation at his initial blanching.
So they are.
And... it's cool. It's awesome. He can kiss him and feel things for him without feeling like he should wash his mouth out for being a fucking moron and leading Castiel on with the assumption that Cas wouldn't want him eventually. Which is a stupid assumption. But Dean can't help it. A guy can only be ditched so many times before it becomes a habit. Maybe people can scent shit like that on someone. Abandonment issues, leave at first sign of emotional insecurity or general neediness.
Dean is in the kitchen when he grabs a post-it note, scribbles a big Sharpie-black heart on it, signs it with his name and writes Cas in the middle.
Subtle, yet workable.
He sticks it onto the fridge and tosses the marker on the counter. Now to hang out with his partner in more than just crime.
