So there's this guy who can read minds and is whose superpower is basically empathy. Which means that not only can Matt not get away with hiding shit, but he also won't be judged too harshly for it because this guy understands him?
SIGN HIM UP.
Not to mention Matt's a smart guy. They'd spend hours talking about all manner of things. And when they got tired of that Matt would sweep him off his feet (or out of his wheelchair) and show him the city from the tops of buildings and kiss in the rain and do all sorts of lovey-dovey romantic things together.
