@human-hearts​ [for Miko!] | starter call

As someone known for having his face becoming engulfed in flames, he’s seen more than his fair share of demons-- and angels too, for that matter. It was exposure that was gained over the course of his travels, hitting the open road upon a motorbike that could ride across the surface of oceans whilst aflame, should the other him take the wheel.     It was after such an event that he finds himself on the opposite side of the Pacific, in a country infected with the unmistakable taint of something distinctly demonic. Hypersensitive to such developments, a fair amount of sheer willpower had to be expended to keep himself from transforming, the Rider within his cursed soul crying out for the chance to feed on the sin that blighted this land like a plague, getting worse by the day. 

So distracting is this struggle that the blond’s forced to make his way into town on foot, walking alongside his bike as he did so. To his left was a view of a river, flushed in red and golden hues by the setting of the sun, with hardly anyone around to take notice of. This was more concerning than reassuring though, as it put the American in a position he doesn’t find himself in often --

He was at high risk of being ambushed.

Ryo had been distracted by the heavy traffic of his social media feed to pay attention to the world around him.  He should have known better in these very dangerous times where anyone could be a demon, especially since Akira nor Jenny was currently accompanying him. 

Before he could open his contacts to call Akira, someone had deliberately tripped him, making fall face first onto the pavement.  A weird sense of dejavu occurred, knowing that not even a few days ago, he fell this exact same way and received these same exact injuries.  He winced in pain, cursing to himself when he realized that his smartphone’s screen was completely smashed from the impact of his phone.  As soon as he pocketed it and looked to see who the culprit was, a sharp pain enveloped his entire torso as the sharp appendages of his attacker held him as they began dragging him out of the public’s view.  

He couldn’t even start struggling or start shouting for help, knowing if he moved around too much, he could easily pierce a vital organ and start internally bleeding.  Ryo had no choice but to be this spider demon’s prey.  He kept his breathing a steady as he could, thrashing his legs in attempt to crawl away from her, but it was too late.

The demon woman’s claws made deep lacerations all over his body, quickly losing a frightening amount of blood.  If this demon didn’t devour him first, he would surely die from blood loss if he didn’t find away out of here.  “Go back to hell, demon.  I am not your dinner!”, he replied disgusted as he felt the demon’s breath and teeth graze his neck.  

His first instinct was to blow the brains of this beast with his handgun, but seeing as this spider demon easily outmatched him in speed and limbs, that option was out of the questions.  However, as fast and strong as she was, she didn’t seem to think a lot of things through.  She had failed to restrain his arms, and was within reaching distance of his jacket pocket.  He quickly reached for a small vial containing a strong sedation fluid.  While it didn’t last long, it was strong enough to immobilize a demon for at least ten minutes.  Ryo couldn’t reach his syringe, so he was going to have to transfer the fluid another way.

He pulled the lid off with his teeth and put the fluid in his mouth, careful not to swallow.  He then grabbed a hold of the transforming girl’s mandibles and landed an open mouth kiss, transferring the liquid in his mouth into hers.
