I'm thinking about Humanity's Demon vs Humanity's Demon 2.0 and I'm actually not sure if I like the story better as 2.0 because like... the whole point was supposed to be a comedy and I feel like taking my husband's advice totally bastardized the point of the novella and like..........

I kind of want to keep the characters added for 2.0 but go back to the comedy intentions of the original.

WIP Most Proud of

So I have so many WIPs. But I’m proud of them for different reasons.

The one I’m most proud of just overall would probably be Humanity’s Demon merely for how much it has evolved since I first came up with the concept. <3

I actually forgot it was Saturday today so… Which work in progress became something completely different from how it was when you started out? And how do you feel about it? Are you happy with where it’s going?

HD 2.0 is 100% different from the original. It went from being a 100% comedy to tackling the issue of racism as well as other serious topics.

Like... the cast is WAAAY bigger than it originally was... it opens up compleeeetely differently... 100%, that is my most changed WIP.

And I am so happy with it. To be able to write something that tackles something so close to home as racism while also making it entertaining enough to not only keep you interested but also make my point that racism is RIDICULOUS... makes me very happy.

Happy MGM from writingamongthecoloredroses! How do/would your OCs celebrate Pride?

Hello and thank you for the ask! ^_^ happy belated MaGM.

Actually, as many LGBT+ characters as I have, none of them do celebrate pride, though now I kind of want to add a scene in HD where Demonic goes to the Pride Parade, but I’ve never been to one myself, as I always forget about them til they’re over... so I’d have to do some research before I would ever write about it.

Happy TbTT! (it's 11:56 here but oh well lol) Have you ever found your universes converging, or at the very least starting to seem like at least a couple stories could have happened in the same universe, at either the same or different times?

It’s okay, it’s only 9:58pm here. I decided to start early this week so that tomorrow at work, I won’t have sending these asks out on my mind xD sorry if that post you made was about asks/my ask. I’m not trying to overwhelm anyone and you’re always welcome to put a temporary freeze on receiving asks if you’re feeling overwhelmed.

Yes!

Death Has a Face/Novel, Origins of the Hybrid Species and Humanity’s Demon/2.0 all take place in the same world, so yes. I have written stories that take place technically in the same world, letalone universe.

Would you guys want me to keep releasing Humanity’s Demon (the original version)? I mean like... I’m kind of ready to just start fresh but at the same time, I don’t want to just pretend I never wrote the original. So would you all like me to finish posting the chapters of the old novel or would you all like me to start fresh?
