Toshi City appears to be a normal, quiet city.
Yet what attracted Zoe into moving into the beautiful place was the mystery, the oddness of it all. No place has ever piqued her interest like Toshi had, and to satiate her curiosity, she had decided to settle into the City of Eternal Sunset.
Walking in an almost slow pace, the brunette looked around, brown eyes registering every detail of buildings and people. This is her new home now -- and how her new nest contained so much to discover about! Almost skipping, Hange hummed to herself, smiling a little as she glanced over the shops, thinking of trying some of the food being sold along the street.
And she spotted it -- gelato! She loved the Italian dessert the most, and how quickly she headed over the little stall. "Espresso gelato, please," She smiled at the lady behind the counter, and fished out a bill from her pocket. Another three customers were there: a mother and her little boy, who had walked away immediately after receiving the cold treat; and a teenager, a student, who had also fished out a bill from his pockets to pay for his serving.
"Here you go," Said the lady, handing the brunet his gelato. The stranger took it with a thank you and started walking away, while Hange waited for hers to get handed over. Though in her musings, she noted an innocent bill lying on the ground, just a step away from where the teenager was standing a few minutes ago. Was it his? Zoe bent over and looked ahead at the student, who was quickly disappearing from the crowd. "Hey!" She called out, and handed her money to the lady after she had received her gelato. "Wait a second!"
Finally catching up to the boy, Zoe grabbed his elbow, stopping him in his tracks, before wiggling the bill in his view. "I believe you dropped this," She said casually, taking note of his appearance -- and peculiarly, it made her feel like she's suddenly forgotten something important.
"Uh, you're a student of Toshi Academy?" Hange blurted out, noting the boy's uniform. Hmm. She could apply as a school physician. "Do you mind showing me where your school is?"
