One of the first sketches I did of my idea of pre-war/human Nick Valentine. I knew I wanted to compare a ‘before and after Jenny’s death’-Nick but didn’t think this would make it past some scratchy sketches. :p Hence the mistakes (which I tried to correct with a supposedly ‘white charcoal’ pencil but it didn’t work so well). This was done with, ironically, a ‘retro-inkpen’ by Kikkerland. I like how, even back then when I was first conceptualizing what I thought Nick would look like, I gave him wavy hair. It’s like all along I knew I was going to end up drawing him like Jude Law’s clone. 0___0
