Fallout 4 clashed with an artsy-fartsy faze I had when I was like 15. Even tho theyre a bit cringe… here are three pieces i’m going to share with you today that have just been collecting dust.

So um XD here’s Nick. Its… sniper vision or something? I think i was trying to use up some old paints I really didn’t like or use too often.
His ear looks very strange. from what i remember I used a low res reference- so that’s likely partially to blame. and It looks almost like I sliced his lips off with a knife. or like his lips are smooshed up against some glass.
If you look closely you can tell when I was running out of paint. so many white spots left unpainted…
the dark threads on his trench coat make it look overworked, and emphasis what really is otherwise a very small detail. Should have painted the back drop first, the outline is very off putting.
and that left eye… ah, just too close to the bridge. I always have issues with eyes… speaking of which…
Its Danse!! Reader, I encourage you to cover his eyes (and maybe the nose) for the best viewing experience. I remember I was really proud of this when I first made this, and I almost still really love this one… but…
the eyes. just ever so slightly… wrong. the nose is at an angle that doesn’t make sense relative to the position of the face. and it isn’t Danse’s nose, that doesn’t look like his nose.
and that scar kind of tangents with his cheekbone.
His hair line is straighter than all my gay little child hood crushes and if you look at his gigantic adam’s apple you can see a smudge that may or may not be vegemite. overall? 4/10 as in 4give me 4 my sins.
This water colour is very small, about as big as a drink coaster. This is actually my most prized possession. I love him. His smile is perfect. hey, wanna hear an embarrassing secret? I took him to my first interview as a goodluck charm. he sat in my purse cheering me on. thats kind of a weird thing to do.
because its smaller the mistakes aren’t as blaring, but that mouth is defo very janky. the smudgey watercolour was not an artistic choice, i just had no skill.
We had a huge cockroach infestation at somepoint, so unfortunately at they got to him. so yeah. those little brown dots on the paper, like that line under his lip- cockroach droppings. It was very sad and upsetting when i realised he had been desiccated.
6/10, for each leg on a cockroach.
