Lorraine sadly suffered three miscarriages, all in her first trimester, before Odumbe became a Community Health Promoter in her village. He gave her nutritional advice and sent her to a specialist. Now, she’s six months pregnant. Lorraine mentioned that if it was a boy, perhaps she'd name him Odumbe. At that, Odumbe laughed and casually replied, "That would be the third child named after me." .... Because of your support giving healthcare workers the skills and training to provide prenatal care, there are more excited and expectant parents in the world. And one village full of little "Odumbes."
