Guardian ⚜ Lev & Natasha
Yes. This is what she had wanted. Blood. Three years had gone by since she left Mystic Falls and the blonde didn’t have a care in the world. The town had caused her to hit rock bottom and she knew the only way for her to drag herself up was to leave. She had to. The memories surrounding that very town; pained her, she hated it and getting away was the best thing she could have done for herself. Natasha left her memories behind her when she waved the town goodbye, though there was one memory she held onto. That memory was Lev. It had to be. There wasn’t a time she wasn’t unhappy when he was in her life. She loved him. Natasha had loved him; angel or human, with all of her heart. She couldn’t help it. She just did. Though she didn’t say goodbye to him when she left, she couldn’t. She should have done, but she didn’t. Natashed couldn’t face the pain. Yes, perhaps this was selfish of her, but she was thinking of herself. She needed to straighten herself out.
Her fangs pierced into her victims neck; indulging. It was heaven. Natasha wasn’t as careless as she had been before, she felt herself. She was able to control her hunger. Though this didn’t mean she wouldn’t feed from humans, because she did. Every single time she went for lunch, she’d pick a victim, male or female, it didn’t matter, as long as she satisfied her cravings, she was content. The very second she had gotten what she had wanted from Nathan she dropped him to the ground, carelessly, yes, but that was her style. Natasha didn’t need to compel him, for she had done so previously. Telling him to forget every single thing that had happened the moment he touched the ground. So she knew she was safe.
The vampire found herself in Chicago’s. This wasn't pleasure; leisure, nor business, this was checking up on a stranger she shared memories with. Lev. Natasha couldn’t not remove him from her life. Despite her not saying goodbye to him, she still kept a close eye on him. She had to. He was human. Incapable of truly protecting himself from actual evil. Lev had been her angel for so many years, it was her time to be his. She didn’t mind. She didn’t even speak to him. She remained undetected every single time she visited. It was only quick. Then she went.
Natasha had decided to get herself a drink after her meal. She knew nobody would find Nathan in a hurry and she also knew that Lev was safe when she had checked up on him. She could sense him outside of the bar, but she was hidden. She sat in the corner of the room, making sure she was unnoticeable if anybody took a quick glance. Just in case he did make a visit into the bar.
