Guardian ⚜ Lev & Natasha
“Traveling.” he said repeating the words. She had been traveling and now of all times, she decided to stop by? for some reason that pissed him off. and he was upset. For a vampire, she had been around the world, over and over again. Why would she make herself appear? if she wanted to be seen, than she showed herself. Which meant that she wanted him to see her, she wasn’t careless, and she was well to cover her tracks.
“You could go anywhere you want, unseen, like a ghost if you want, and yet you let yourself be seen. Are you really traveling?” if he was honest with himself, this moment in time. was a defining moment. A decision in which she chooses to let him go for good or not. Because he had tried, he had tried to move on, this was the first time in months where he actually went on a date. Not even he could go through with it, because he didn’t want to. It just wasn’t the same. Not after their history together.
Sometimes he felt like he was going mad. He missed being an angel, traveling to places he wanted to go. Being able to sense her before she could even see him appear. Now he was a simple human, who could die at any minute.
“It is.” he sad looking back at her. This is where he lived. Lev saw the smile on her face, And it broke his heart. She wasn’t going to stay. This he knew. And part of him did wish this was a dream, because it was going to hurt him once she left, like it always did. He just wasn’t enough.
Natasha now wasn’t sure that her stopping by and checking on Lev once in a while was a good idea, not now. Questions... questions... that’s all she could see happening. She didn’t want to answer them, or tell the truth. She didn’t want to make it seem like she wanted to be with him, or that she missed him; he deserved to live his life. It was a short one after all. Well, compared to her immortality.
She sighed, “Yes. I am.”
Lying. She was good at that. It was technically a fib, but she didn’t care. “I didn’t know you were here--- if I did, I would have left. I don’t want to put you through any more drama. You deserve better.”
Natasha looked into his eyes, stepping closer to him she touched his cheek with her four fingers before letting them softly go down his face before they touched his jawline. Moving her hand away from him she gave him a weak smile, “It’s a nice city.”
