Yup, I've finally got the nerve to change my profile pic!! Feeling like I've grown out from being merely a fandom blog haha.
First of all, the story of Exodus is so close and dear to me because of my personal beliefs, my faith, and my culture. That's the main reason why I hold this movie in such a high regard.
Then, I think the Burning Bush scene was especially incredible and moving. I simply love how they took quotes directly from the book of Exodus, word by word. It brings tears to my eyes every time G-d gently says: "Oh, Moses".
And finally, of course, the music. They had truly outdone themselves with music in this movie. I remember listening to it on a loop for a year or so.
P.S. I simply love listening to Hebrew versions as well. I feel like it made them all sound more authentic. Especially these two:
