Ok so I've seen you respond to asks where you bash on Bleach (which is quite right it was wasted potentional) so Imma ask you this: where in Bleach did you realise it was a lost cause and what would you've done differently to Kubo?

How would you do a sword slash for douga? Like a blackscreen then a white slash, no person.

Sorry, probably the best way is the classic way of analysing animation:  download an example, step through it frame-by-frame (a video editor comes in handy for this type of analysis, even if you are producing an animated GIF instead of a movie file), then duplicate something similar frame-by-frame.

Possibly start using transparent layers and the Background setting with a black colour, with onion skin mode turned off, so you can see all the layers easily.

Then add a black layer beneath each frame and merge each frame with it.

Here is a quick rough example - with some more care this would look smoother (I used some transform to align later layers along a curve).

Is there a way to find the halfway point of a canvas?

Add a new layer. Draw a line from the top left corner to the bottom right, and another line from the top right corner to the bottom left. Where the two lines cross is the middle of the canvas. 

Alternatively, if you know your canvas size, and watch the status bar very carefully as you move the cursor, the status bar gives you X, Y coordinates relative to the top left corner of the canvas, so you can see when your cursor is at the middle.

Can you add a gif into FA?

FireAlpaca will open a static (single-frame) GIF.

If you select a multi-frame animated GIF, only the first frame will be used.
