HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I’ve got an extra-special treat for you today: an EXTRA “Finding Dee” comic strip! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I wanted to make this strip which was a struggle I was really debating with myself last year. I have pretty great Michael Myers and Jason costumes and I LOVE standing by the porch while Heidi hands out candy with the classic John Carpenter HALLOWEEN music playing. It’s a TON of fun watching people decide if they are going to try and brave the porch for the candy. (And for the record, it’s usually the teenage and adult MEN who get the most scared. lol) But, more to the point of the strip, it is something I’ve felt awkward about ver since coming out, which is really quite silly when you think about it.

Sometimes, superior foam power isn’t always the way to win. It’s a rare situation when Bernard successfully gets the upper hand on Dandy, but it’s fun to shake things up every now and again.

In many respects, Audrey is my stand in in the strip where creative endeavors are concerned. And much like my time in school, few could ever deal with my enthusiasm for projects like this which usually lead to my never being asked to participate. But I’ve already covered THAT with the “Hamilton” parody story from a few months back, so this time they are stuck with Audrey.

Bobbert and Tobi! Bobbert is the frog and Tobi is the idiot. Nah scratch that they're both idiots. It was fun to do something a bit more upbeat for a change! I haven't done something as cute as this since I did my application for the school, and in color even! What is this lol. The humor aspect terrified me absolutely though, and since we all read the comics by our desks today, I didn't get to hear if any of the humor actually landed. So, yeah. This week our assignment was to make two characters, that could be used in a daily humor comic strip. We did character designs, scripting and then made five daily strips plus a Sunday strip, which is like an extended comic strip. So! I made these two guys, who I'm going to be posting some stuff with right away :P I actually used color on something, how about that!
