DRACO MALFOY

why i like them: because he is the one-dimensional school-yard bully turned layered, heartbreaking foil with enough depth to carry a series all on his own :( :( :( :( :( :( :( I am too sad to extrapolate why i don’t: the only thing I don't like about Draco Malfoy is the fact we had to wait until Half-Blood Prince until we got some serious background info I mean are you kidding me JKR???favorite episode (scene if movie): everything during HBP and post-HBP just sets my heart aflame tbh!!! especially when he crashes Slughorn's party and the scene with him and Snape in the corridor AND WHEN HARRY CASTS SECTUMSEMPRA ON HIM OH GOD and at the end of DH when the Malfoys are just sat together like scared little ducklings!!!!!! but also because i'm me i adore every lil scene where he's blisteringly sarcastic and when he pretends to be a dementor and when he does scathing impressions of harry and when ron throws bits of crocodiles at him in potions ugh babiesfavorite season/movie: HBP :) :( :) :( favorite line: most of my favourite Draco quotes make me want to throw myself off the astronomy tower (oooo) so I'm going to go with "Montague's just been found in a toilet, Sir" favorite outfit: Slytherin uniform because house pride represent!!! but also (in the films) when he wears that suit because oh whoops where did my knickers go??? (although why in god's name they thought it would make sense to put not just a malfoy but a black in a fucking muggle suit is absolutely beyond me but there you go)otp: HARRY/DRACO because other than Luna there is only one other person Harry should have conceivably ended up with and it wasn't fucking Ginny brotp: Draco/his family being alive, Draco/happiness, Draco/not having to live under the shadow of decisions he made when he was a terrified teenager being manipulated by the most powerful dark wizard of all time head canon: all my Draco headcanon is an amalgamation of all the Regards, Draco artwork and every Maya fic I've ever read so I'm sure you can imagine. but also I kind of want him to end up working in the same department as Hermione at the Ministry and for them to end up being mates because they're both really smart and Hermione is so used to scolding Harry and Ron that she just scolds him too super casual and he's like "omg I'm being scolded" idk friendship plsunpopular opinion: I don't really have one but everyone was always (back in the day, bless) going on and on about how he was lowering his wand!!!! he wasn't going to kill Dumbledore!!!!!! he's a goodie!!!!!!!!! FUCK THAT NOISE Draco would have killed Dumbledore to protect his family. it would have destroyed him but he would have done it because he had absolutely zero reason to feel anything for Dumbledore at all (hello the Slytherins are treated like shit and no teacher ever does anything to stop it -- they even take part in the relentless bullying) and he loves his mother too much to choose Dumbledore/his own ~goodness over her END OF DISCUSSION
