Here’s First Aid

The very fine line to walk when writing vortex and first aid. The ‘creepy slightly stalky but also interesting’ line. If you write too hard on the stalky line it’s just full creepy and weird. You gotta give him some ZEST.

Like. First Aid crying, Vortex comforting him. Idly wondering if first aid picked up the habit of sob-crying from being around humans. Remembering that the humans he tormented that one time did the same sounds, and now it makes him feel a little weird, ever since he met first aid; before he thought it was a riot, but not anymore. The sound makes him want to crawl into First Aid’s skin and sit inside his ribcage.

Like. The FLAVOR is there.

Eventually I’ll finish the Sparkeater first aid au story but I also sometimes wonder what he looks like in that au. Vs ‘before’

Obviously it’s a Choice by the comic artist but seeing First Aid without his mask for the first time and he just looks like a 2012 tumblr humanization is like. Please we can do better… we have the technology… he doesn’t gotta look like this guys
