Okay, but yesterday prompt got me thinking about, jelous faebur.
So, you haven't been near your grandpa cabin in a long time ( over a year??), bc life
The day that you returned, Wilbur was happy, he enjoyed more than he should have the games you two played
Unfortunately you weren't alone, some human was holding your hand, kissing you
You, relationships between faes and humans weren't well seen in his community but he couldn't deny, you were his, he knew it the first time he saw you, you were meant to be together
the forest aura changed completely, the birds were the first to escape, suddenly
"I think we should go back, it's too late and it seems that the cabin it's far" your lover said
"Yeah yeah, we should" this is not the first time you see the forest this way, and every time the forest was this terrifying there was an especific fae behind it
"Oh, so you are leaving without saying hello to an old friend?"
In front of the two humans a beautiful man with a wicked smile greeted them
I'm too lazy to finish but (ง ื▿ ื)ว eh eh, watcha think??
me likey heheheeh
He doesn't realize you're not coming back to visit him until after the first few weeks. He doesn't know why it hurts but it doesn't hurt for long, just patient waiting. He knows for a fact though, knows that you'll be back. Just not soon enough in his opinion.
And when you do, you're different. Your hair is different, the way you smile and of course this new human you bring to the cabin, wrapped in him like he'd been with you. Though, this kind of affection seemed to bring a flustered blush over your cheeks, shying away from the attention and yet preening underneath it. He didn't know why he felt this deep anger inside of him. He could only assume it was because the moment you're back you're not immediately spending it with him.
It takes two days after you're back to visit the grounds, much to his displeasure, with this new human holding your hand and kissing your cheek and whispering soft names only he's called you.
As soon as your feet touches the soil, the birds immediately fly out of the area, the noises that had usually blanketed the trees had dimmed so much it was the quietest buzz in your ears. He's nearby, you knew. Something in your gut turned, he wasn't happy, and you're pretty sure it's because you left without saying a word.
"Hey, it's getting late, we can come back to tomorrow, yeah?" Your partner mumbles to you, hand on your lower back as it seemed to get too dark too fast. You nod, throwing a glance over your shoulder, you don't recognize the path as the one you were just on. A five minute walk had now turned into an indefinite one, one that would last hours if the one was responsible didn't change it back.
"Leaving without so much as a goodbye? Like last time?" You hear him and it's here your heart pounds inside of your chest without much reason. You turn to him with a smile but you don't recognize the neutral expression on his face, with the way his face always seemed to naturally smile at you... you felt like you were in trouble. But... you did forget to say goodbye last time.
"Honey, who's this?" Your partner asks, hesitant to get any closer.
Will's face morphs into something mean. Oh, don't tell me.
"An old friend, look Wilbur, I'm sorry about leaving and leaving without telling you but we need to get back home."
"So you can leave me again?" Something burns in the both of you, anger, jealousy in him and frustration in you.
"I was always going to come back." Wilbur turns away from you, waving a hand at you and trees literally bend so you couldn't follow his path. You still try, rushing forward to see if you could climb under or over, but the trunks of these trees move to block your advancements.
"Wanna explain to me what happened?" And turning around, you see the edge of the forest, the back of your grandfather's cabin right there.
"Later, let's go home." And you liked this person, you did, but something felt wrong to say that to your partner. And you feel completely awful when you realize you feel like you're saying it to the wrong person.
He watches as you leave his grounds, watches as you stay outside to watch the sunset from your porch.
Been having sinful thoughts all day but, faebur fluff?? (Maybe they are in their teenage years??)
Faebur being MC first kiss, like a summer she comes and talks about this other boy at home who she fancies, and faebur boiling inside, so to at least have you in some way he tells you that you guys should try kissing
"it's practice, y'know" he says while his feet dangle from the tree house, he looked at you over his shoulder his feeling for you burning like a fire inside his chest
"idk, it's just that" your face telling him you weren't sure about doing it, unfortunately for you (fortunately for him) he knew the magic words so he could have at least a kiss from you
"well, you don't want this boy to think you kiss ugly" he shrugged looking at the distance, a smirk appeared on his face when he heard you huff
"I don't kiss ugly" your eyes looked like you had something to prove, he looked at you, truly looked at you
"I don't believe you"
"Believe this" you leaned and kissed his lips, he was surprised but not so much he knew you were hot headed. He looked at your frown as if you had something important to prove, but he decided to enjoy so he closed his eyes and held your face
"See, I don't kiss ugly" you said once you pulled away, breathless he smiled "I'm not sure bout that, let me try again to give you a good answer"
That's how Eileen found you two, lips interlock, Wilbur tenderly holding your face and your hands on the nape of his neck " what are you two doing?!!" Surprised the couple separated, you caught like a deer in the headlights and will pissed that the moment was cut short
