Shelby has spoken about her abuse from an ex... and it turned out that Wilbur Soot was that ex. For more information, you can watch her vod, I don't have a link rn but genuinely I am sorry you had to hear this from me.

And to add on, he confirmed that he was the abuser and posted an "apology" but Shelby made it clear that she didn't accept it. There's more to it but that's the reason I'm no longer writing or supporting Wilbur Soot. He's an abuser and everything he did and will continue to do reflects that. All of my support will be towards Shelby.

#twitter has a lot of info but again its twitter so #but yeah #when shelby came out and people were speculating. i just. bad gut feeling. like i hate to be that person and say oooooh i had a feeling!!!!-#but genuinely. i knew in my gut. he was and continues to be an awful person and shelby and others have been hurt by him #yes i took comfort and joy from his content and music. i cant take that away. but i can support shelby and the victims and scream and feel #ive moved on. he doesnt deserves my support and he'll never get again.#im sorry for rambling in the tags. but genuinely. im so angry.

Hey! Just letting the, like, three people who follow me for Lovejoy/Wilbur, I won't be posting about him anymore.

I can't take back four, almost five, years of finding comfort in him, interacting with that community, and listening to his music (and finding a Hell of a lot of comfort in that), but I can and will support Shelby all the way.

Always support and listen to the victim. Remember this is Shelby's story, not Wilbur's.
