This is called a red herring argument and is presenting what could be seen as a ridiculous and exaggerated yet similar argument that is used to try and get attention away from the main point or make the main point seem ridiculous. Sorry but that’s not going to work.

The question is why don’t you have a problem with ‘age difference’. Oh yes I see you trying to use a softer term instead of what it really is - pedophilia. Age difference is what my parents have - my mom was 24 and my dad was 32 when they got married. Both completely consenting and mature adults. The fics in question that you have a problem with being reported is NOT the same thing. Those fics contain explicit pedophilia and rape. That is not just ‘age difference’.

Also you’ve completely ignored the mention of issues I have with rape in stories. No good excuse for that?
