headcanon. tiana started cooking around the age of four, although she was allowed to put some small ingredients into the pot when she was younger. the first thing she actually learned to do was mince ( though her parents gave her a very blunt knife ). the first thing she made on her own was jumbo, and she did it at the age of 5.cooking was usually a family past time, especially with her dad, but eudora would often help them. james taught her a ton of recipes, and tiana learned many more from the various restaurants she worked at. tiana would also add her own little flair to recipes as we saw at the beginning of the film. tiana would save these changes and put them in a recipe book.tiana is also always insistent that she is the one who cooks dinner and other meals. even when she’s sick or tired, she will always insist on cooking for you.
