Hubter Jack Ch 2 (Hubby/Hunter Jack)

Jackson’s hooves stomped out of the tavern, the dimly lit street now lay before him. The orange pony rushed slowly walked down the dirty path towards a large red wagon parked near a couple trees. In front stood a red earth pony with a small blonde pegasus on his back.

"Uncle Mac", the little pony started, "How come Papa has those circles over his eyes?"

The red pony stopped chewin’ the wheat in his mouth, “ah, yer Pa don’t sleep that much these days”

Jack slowly approached the two of them. “Ah sleep just fine”, he gave a look at the red pony.

"Did you get news on the big snake papa?", the blonde little filly said, flapping her pink little wings.

"Ah did darlin’….. but from tha look of them townsfolk, it seems this one’s a bit dangerous", Jackson paused. "……. you and uncle Mac’ll need ta stay behind"

Big Mac gave him a discerning look but remained quiet as he saw his brother retrieve several blades from the wagon.

The little filly fluttered behind her father, “Papa, whatcha gonna use on the snake?”

For a moment, his tired green eyes met her eyes. He stood there speechless, noticing that her eyes were just like her mothers, as blue as the sky. He didn’t say anything, only slightly the look in his eyes becoming more tired.

"Papa? What’s wrong?"

Jackson shook his head, “Nothin’ Sundance. Nothin’ at all”. He shuttered a bit as he went inside the wagon again.

Oooh can't wait to see where this is gonna go.
