Lunch special menu on last pic and full menu on @perthfoodmenu For entrée, we shared the Crispy chicken wings (six pieces) with Buffalo and ranch sauce. Enjoyed the wings! For mains, we picked the Hunter’s Pie of the Day (Beef & Ale) & Eye of Rump 200g (cooked medium) with in house basting, creamy mushroom sauce (extra aud3) and thick cut chips. The highlight was the pie and chips. The puff pastry of the pie was crispy while the beef and ale filling was flavoursome and generous. LOVE the hand-cut chips - the outside was crispy yet the inside of the chips were so fine and soft. Good batch of potatoes. The steak was a tad overcooked in my opinion. For desserts, we chose the apple skillet pie with orange syrup and Fior Di Latte ice cream. SO GOOD. What a way to end this unexpectedly good lunch. Will be back. P.S A glass of house wine, beer or soft drink is included along with the two course lunch special too. We chose red wine and it was a pretty strong red wine - wasn’t too dry which was easier to drink for me (Disclaimer: no wine connoisseur).
