hunter-by-night
{✿} The afternoon was calm -- autumn was near and the air simply smelled of fall. The trees were slowly fading into warm colors, animals and critters of all sorts beginning to hide away and prepare for winter. Chomesuke could feel it, and she was more than excited to spend her first autumn at the Order.
Though she didn’t know many of the exorcists, finders, or staff members, she was still eager to get to know each of their names and faces. A few, however, she was already antiquated with.
Lavi Bookman (Jr.) being one of them, as he was the exorcist she was closest to in their expedition to Edo. He had saved her a couple of times from near-death experiences, hence she was most grateful.
And another was Arystar Krory the third. Or, as she knew him, “Kro-chan” (she had never properly learned his name, and that’s what Lavi called him). Chomesuke had already seen and talked with Lavi for the day, so she decided the vampire exorcist would be her next friend to visit.
She found him browsing the books in the library, with a stern look on his face. Not how she remembered him... Though his face was a bit scrunched up in thought, what she recalled of the man was a tall, intimidating vampiric exorcist -- fierceness in his eyes and a grin that sent chills up her spine every time they made eye-contact.
“Uhm, excuse me?” She piped up, reaching a hand out timidly to the man. “You’re ‘Kro-chan’, right-cho?”
