During her time as a Savior her hunting partners were Fiona (@caretkr) & Wynonna (@huntersmooned). Though she isn't a Savior anymore they're still the first two people she calls when she thinks she's going to need help on a hunt—— and has all of the Saviors on speed dial in general.
" what, did you run over the body with your car a couple times after ? " / from meg!
"————— You a cop now?"
what happens if you don't come back? / graham, from kelly, during s12
"i won't leave you behind." that isn't the real concern though, is it? — promise can only stretch so far and he knows deep down he can't guarantee it even if he wants to. what he really means is.. 'i'd never go by choice', but choice isn't a privilege granted to everyone, least of all those in their current predicament. the people chasing them aren't easy to evade. they keep creeping in from all directions with little mercy in mind. monsters, humans, heaven itself. graham can only keep her safe for so long and he's on borrowed time with a half-empty prescription bottle in his pocket. it's a sad reality he clearly isn't willing to accept. they're safe here for now: tucked away in a warded military bunker, alarm system overridden and fresh angel sigil bleeding down the wall just in case. the rest will come later when he has to leave for medicine.
paranoid eyes scan surveillance a second time and then a third for extra reassurance, before turning to step towards her. "i have an old friend in iowa. we used to be in all this together 'till he retired to a farm with his wife." body lowers and he kneels in front of a seated @huntersmooned to put them at a more equal level, hand reaching to press a piece of paper into the woman's palm. "if something does happen to me … call this number and use the codeword on the back. riley will understand." twang of guilt twists at his gut because he shouldn't ask such a bold favour from the man who grew to be his brother. however, there was no one else in the world he trusted more with a mission as precious as kelly kline had become. soldier gently folds her fingers into a closed fist to ensure the information is secure. "he'll help.. no questions asked." soft touch lingers against his better judgement. graham cares for her and it shows in the subtle way thumb brushes along kelly's knuckles in a tenderness that doesn't suit his large stature. " — do you know how to shoot a gun?"
stop putting yourself in danger prompts. still accepting.
she's just silently holding his gaze, fangs drawn. all is still, but the question doesn't need to be spoken. / graham from toni
the silence that surrounds them in a dimly-lit manor bedroom is comfortable. — familiar even. nothing needs to be spoken out loud for graham to know what @huntersmooned is asking, and his own response remains silent, holding her gaze. their bond cements deeper than words now. he stopped trying to make sense or why or how, because as a vampire? … she is everything he's been trained to distrust and yet, there were no other hands in the world he felt safer putting his life in. they were the same once after all: two soldiers trapped in a cycle they fought bloody to break free from. they see each other / they understand each other. arm lifts and graham tucks his fingers just beneath shirt collar, stretching material aside while head tilts the opposite direction to leave his neck exposed. "it's okay.." spare hand reaches to find the curve of toni's waist. settles there like two puzzle pieces slotting together and gentle squeeze coaxes her closer, never breaking the eye contact they've learnt to communicate with. "you're not gonna hurt me." his words aren't meant as reassurance. they're a purposeful acknowledgement. they mean 'i trust you'.

maddie shouldn’t be this far out on the farm.
she knows that the way she knows a lot of things lately — distantly, like it applies to someone else. she’s sitting at the edge of the field, knees pulled in, fingers pressed into the dirt just to feel something solid.
ever since ryan died, everything feels… wrong. like she’s awake but not really here. like there’s a flaw somewhere in her wiring she can’t find, and she’s been running on whatever’s left since.
impulse. adrenaline. gasoline.
she only realizes she’s not alone when a shadow falls across the ground beside her.
“you don’t have to say it,” she says quietly. “i already know i’m not supposed to be out this far. i just needed a minute.”
she finally turns, eyes scrunching when she realizes who it is.
“claire,” she asks, “...what are you doing here?”
"I know you'll always look after me. Right?" / from claire!
"Always, kiddo." There's something about that question that isn't sitting right with her... "Did something happen?"
