“... I still look pretty enough?” There’s something dry in the way he’s managed to joke, even if his chest was getting pulled back together. Literally, damn bastards really brought a .45 to hunt him. If Manny honestly had a dollar for every time he ended up in this situation... 

“Just--enough t’ close it up... body ‘ll take care of the rest...” A short cough had him grimacing sharply. What a shit day this was. At least he wasn’t waking up on a table. 

That usually didn’t end well. 

“Fuckssake... think I’m just lucky they wanted t’ torture rather than outright kill...”

“An’ that—said fuck off!--is why I said don’t open the fridge.” One arm and foot’s doing a decent job at forcing the door shut while the other’s blindly groping around the counterspace next to it. The fridge on the other hand? 

Well, it was shaking. Wildly. And having some very colorful opinions on why its current contents should be on this side and the very colorful things it was going to do to John’s asshole when it got out. In John’s defense, he thought the warning was pretty obvious.  

“Dumber than sodding rocks—shoulda been able t’ see it’s one way—there y’ are!” Finally his hand curls on a rather sketchy looking kitchen knife. Fridge door open again, and the thing that he seemed to have been fighting attempted a lunge—right into the knife. Blade sunk, he then knees the creature to make it fall back. Far. In fact, the distant thudding sound shouldn’t logically be possible. 

Oh well, issue fixed so he slammed the thing closed. “Alright... takeout then?”

@huntrcsss ;; some meme somewhere [ GUARDING ]  Castiel insists on staying the night to keep watch over Theo who has been in some kind of danger. 

                               "IF IT'S ALL THE SAME TO YOU, I'LL STAY," Castiel insists as he peers out of the window. The night is eerie, with mist clinging to the naked branches of the trees and a cold full moon illuminating the outside world whenever the clouds leave a gap. Turns out that he was hunting the very same demons this young hunter – Theo – was after, but the group had been larger than either of them expected. They didn't get everyone, and Castiel fears the three remaining demons could take revenge on Theo once Castiel (as an angel sort of their natural enemy) was gone. "You should get some rest. I'll keep watch."

“Um--” 

Okay, this was awkward. In all fairness, putting down what reminded him of a chupacabra wasn’t exactly the easiest thing in the world. Not to mention the hard feeling of the claws still in his arm and the mess of his suit, he felt absolutely terrible. 

But that was probably from the infection already bubbling from the claw marks and not because of how long it'd been since his last violent encounter. He can ignore it for now, considering how weird the situation his new company walked up on probably looked. So much for this thing his mother sent...

“I--uh...” A beat. “Wasn’t me.”

he smirks, clearly pleased with himself as he tucks his gun back in the holster. " you'll what, hm? " feeling cocky, Emmett steps closer & tilts his head ever so slightly. " pretty sure i'd be able to shoot first again. " eyes flicker to the dead werewolf, a single silver bullet between the eyes from Emmett's pistol, the reason for Theo's ire he's can't lie, he'd be pissed if someone took his kill too.

“Asked m’self that one far too many times.” And probably wouldn’t ever, taking a long drag from his cigarette in response. A grimace from the taste, and maybe a glare at it for good measure. Stupid costs not even letting him have one thing today…

“Think ‘m getting too old for this shit too.” Tempted to flick it away, though he held it out to Theo—out of politeness, of course. “Can tell you though? It don’t get easier.”

He hadn't meant for it to happen, he hadn't realized the wear and tear of his shackles would finally fall apart as his 'other side' yanked at them to try and get free during the full moon, desperate to get out into the forest and wreak whatever havoc or spoils it could. In one night, he'd managed to take out a number of a local farmer's sheep, a few pigs, even leaving slash marks here and there as though leaving his call card. It was careless, easy to pick up on if someone knew what to look out for -- - he just hoped that nobody who knew about that side of things had been paying attention, that nobody would come for him. Though hope wasn't always on Ethan's side, as he pottered in his small vegetable garden outside his little house, suddenly pausing with his digging fork in hand as someone approached. "I ain't lookin' for Jesus, if that's why you're here." He tried to muse as casually as possible, his throat suddenly dry. "Can I help you?"
