◭ Abandon [Huntz] △
I wanted to make a detailed render, so here is a serene picture of Huntz at a pool covered in overgrowth.
I've been thinking about Huntz's lore for some time, so I wanted to project aspects of it into this render. I imagine that Huntz loves to travel to abandoned places for some solitude and reflection, with this pool being one of his favorite places. The cyborg is fond of abandoned areas because he feels he can connect with them. Places like these are symbolic of the neglect Huntz experienced in the past. [Context: Huntz was objectified and neglected by two different professors. He is currently under a much better professor, though.]
Huntz finds it peculiar that despite the pool being void of people and covered in overgrowth, the water is still clean, and there is slight deterioration in the structure despite it holding up for so many years. This phenomenon is another connection to Huntz, for he has endured extreme situations without much depreciation. He is convinced some entity protected him. [Context: After Huntz is abandoned by his first professor on the beach, the sea takes him from the shore, and he floats across the ocean for years with only some deterioration].

Ummmm…. GUYS?????
◆ Huntz, Sharper than Wind (pt. 2) ◆
Initially, this model of Huntz was simply a remake of the one I've previously posted, but I realize that this could work better as a later version of him, so both Huntz I2 and I3 are canon.
During this iteration, Huntz still resides in Iris District, but he seeks out opportunities more frequently, so he is usually outside the district. He works several jobs at Prism district, including assisting with the Prism tournament [name TBD, but might stick with it], a global competition where cyborgs compete. Like his previous iteration, Huntz holds plenty of wit, patience, and charm, and he can follow through with procedures and dedicate himself to jobs.
However, compared to his previous iteration, he shows complete confidence. Even though he still longs for his moment of solitude, he finally realizes that the people around him need him and the world will only keep going even if he is stuck in the past, so he vows to make much of the happy life he is given.
His second pair of eyes was always there even before his second iteration, but they were not present during that iteration because he requested them to be wielded shut out of self-consciousness. He can read into people's minds with these eyes, but he reserves this for battle or significant situations. Otherwise, those eyes remain closed by default.

◆ Huntz, Sharper than Wind ◆
I had this precious baby for around a year. I'm actually modeling a newer version of him [HO-NT5-I3], but I will make both iterations canon in When Planes Become Stars [plus I like both models equally].
During this iteration, Huntz resides in the Iris lab of Iris District, recovering from a long period of negligence from his old professor. Huntz grows to have so much wit, patience, and charm, and he can follow through with procedures and dedicate himself to jobs. He shows excellent skill during training and continues to show drastic improvement. With all these traits and skills under his belt, most assume that he's got everything together.
However, when he settles down in the comfort of his solitude, it is clear that this young cyborg is very sentimental. Often looking up at the moon in long reflection, he wonders if he deserves the life he lives. Due to the previous period of negligence, he wonders if he is only a burden to others. He is deeply thankful for the better life he is given, but he feels as if something else is missing.

◇ When Planes Become Stars Trilogy [Fitz, Kein, Huntz] ◇
I wanted to make a render of the three protagonists together.
Originally, Fitz was the sole protagonist of When Planes Become Stars. However, Huntz and Kein have been getting a lot of individual content and development, so I decided to split the story into a trilogy. This way, I can go in-depth about characters they're each close to without forcing so much information into one medium.
These subtitles are probably subject to change, but I am thinking that they should be named the following:
WPBS: Lunar Kiss [Fitz] WPBS: Beautiful Unknown [Huntz] WPBS: Second Life [Kein]

◆ Angel of Darkness ◆
This render is created for an ongoing contest in the MikuMikuCentral Discord Server. The assigned theme is right up my alley, and the song "Angel of Darkness" has been a source of artist inspiration for a while now, so I went for it. Through this piece, I wanted to show some of Huntz's abilities, such as his lower eyes and the extra floating appendages controlled by him. I'm pleased with the composition of this render. It feels modern, but some elements are faintly reminiscent of early 2000s imagery. ↓ Read more for render credits ↓
