51. Writing a big paper, and hasn’t saved yet

Huo Da had been sitting in front of his laptop for at least five or six hours, struggling to get even a few pages down as he racked his brain for better wording. He hadn’t studied this hard in god knows how long and it had been a surprise to find he was actually trying this hard. But - he had made a promise to a very special girl that he would give it his all - and he was certainly feeling the pressure. The educational system had many flaws, but this paper was causing him further grief. “Shengqi…" he barked, the sudden interruption bringing his drive to a halt, resulting in an automatic closing of his laptop. The profanities that flew out of his mouth soon after seemed a bit excessive, but he hadn’t saved any of that.

☄: What would your muse wish upon a star for?

Huo Da would be likely to wish for a little bit of attention from his father and the woman that he harbors a crush on. Neither one of them appreciate him, nor do they seem to notice he is ever around, which has been bugging him for many years. Thus, he can be really sour.

♒: How often does your muse bathe?

Huo Da bathes perhaps once a week, simply because he much prefers to shower. He smells of citrus and vanilla, most of the time. And he seldom appreciates being disturbed whilst bathing or showering; that includes random phone calls or buzzing intercoms.

☺: What is something that’ll make your muse happy?

Happiness to Huo Da is silently watching the glee spread on Jia Di’s face whenever she finds a handful of coins whilst helping him clean his apartment. Coming from a wealthy family, he is always in awe of how every little thing has the ability to light up her entire world.

☹: What is something that’ll make your muse sad?

Sadness to Huo Da is watching the attention his older sibling receives from everyone, and the way he feels cast aside as soon as others are introduced to his elder. Huo Yan, though in truth he is much more successful and driven in life, lacks a lot of his younger siblings qualities.

✎: Does your muse have a good education?

At this moment in time, not at all, though he is currently under an awful lot of stress through the extensive studying he has been informed he must do before the semester is over. Friends had never been able to convince him to attend, even if only to be around them and only recently has he been persuaded to do well in his studies.

✝: What are your muse’s religious belief(s)?

Huo Da has never been willing to talk about religion, at all and with that being the case, I like to assume he isn’t entirely fussed on the matter. There are no strict rules he lives by and as I see it, he isn’t bound by any religious beliefs. He would no doubt accuse them of being improper.

✍: What is your muse’s handwriting like?

Huo Da does not lack the ability to write beautifully, but since giving up school a few days out of every week, his handwriting stooped to poor levels. He also tends to write only in markers, and will not pay any attention to notices when signing for bills and whatnot. He really doesn’t care.

⁈: What is something that’ll startle your muse?

Most likely bad news relating to an operation he had just a few short years ago, in which it was absolutely vital he had a liver transplant. Of course, the donor was his older sibling and the two have since been on far greater terms than usual.

♡: What is your muse’s ideal date?

Huo Da doesn’t care very much for going all out on dates, so he would simply suggest only a night in playing video games, drinking beer and munching on sushi rolls and cheetos. He can be romantic, but he chooses to be otherwise, more often than not.

✗: What is something your muse absolutely hates?

Conformity, which is already pretty obvious. It depends entirely on who it is that’s telling him what he should and shouldn’t be doing, though. The answer for this would probably tie right in with the mention of how brother receiving more attention and praise. He really hates that.
