It has been a very long day here at the sanctuary. Alfredo is chillin' in Molly's room for the moment. We are getting Indi all settled in for the night. 💗 We got her home from her surgery this evening. It was dinner and med time for the other kids so I'm just now updating. She has a very difficult time at our local vet but once we got her back home she is doing ok resting. They ended up being able to save the wrist pad and did not have to remove it. After plenty of sutures and bandages she is on her way to healing. She will not be able to run or be her normal Indi for at least two weeks. It's a very tricky area to heal. For right now she has sedation medicinie to help keep her calm. At least having it sutured will be quicker healing than if they had removed the pad. 😊 All in all they fixed her up and now onto the next surgery! Miss Indi was dropped off at the vet early this morning. I'm sure she has already had her surgery and we can go get her at 3pm today. Poor girl was so nervous, we struggled to get her out of the car even.
