I just thought, that it would be really funny, it in the game, instead of the Narrator's serious voice, you would hear a silly, squeaky Hurvínek's ones. That's how I came up with such a crossover. I left a link for a cartoon, for ppl, who never heard of Hurvinek and his stupid voice.

another instalment into my lil series of fan-posters for the animated shorts featuring the Merry Club : D I figured I'd do poster-pieces like these for all the shorts, since there aren't too many of those either way and I quite like them all ajhkjhsj

This particular short - called "Pencil is sick" - is probably the shortest of them in terms of length; fittingly it is included in a small cartoon anthology/compilation with a few other unrelated shorts.

The plot here is appropriately very simple (albeit massively exaggerated, in my personal headcanon ajsjksh): Pencil breaks his nose while drawing, quickly growing sick. His club-mates all suggest their own ways of curing him, but none seem to work as everyone's propositions stem from their personal visions of what would help their leader best - and not what would work best for him. Ultimately, the Merry-clubbers call a doctor who is able to find a perfect solution to the problem... by sharpening the patient's nose : )

I personally headcanon that Pen is simply being a drama king (per usual of him) in this short and hasn't really been suffering THAT much from his nose being broken. my man's just wanted a break ajhksjhs. understandably. He is the club's president after all, he gets to solve everyone else's problems all the time.

Happy New Year, friends! Hope you're having fun holidays and enjoying life, whatever it brings you.

Just wanted to say thank you to all those of you who still like, share and praise my art - this year wasn't too fun but I appreciate the support I've been getting throughout it. You have made the year a lot more bearable, I couldn't be thankful enough 💚 Wishing everyone good health and luck and boundless inspiration in 2026, for months to no end!

Just like last year, for my last submission of 2025 I couldn't resist doing a festive illustration with the whole club. With this particular piece I emulated the style of retro Soviet New Year cards! like these ones, for example.

It's been a relaxing process, albeit took more time than usual since there were lots of characters and details (that's why I rarely do full group pics with them all pfft). But I love this mighty eight with all of my heart. Too bad they can't catch a break even on holidays, with so many New Year concerts to give! Lets hope they get a day-off tomorrow lol.

Here in Russia we have the National Unity Day on November 4th. It has some historical context but nowadays it is mostly ignored forgotten; today this holiday is generally associated with celebrating the unity of all the different nations living in our country and the unity of all the nations in the world on a larger scale. It's considered a celebration of diversity, friendship and toleration!

I thought there wasn't any better example of this than the Merry Club's mighty eight - where else would you find such a diverse group of friends from the different corners of the world? : D
